A40 Over Roundabout works

Through the summer there will be widening works proceeding at the A40 Over roundabout - these are described in detail at the following website:

Gloucestershire county Council - A40 Over Roundabout Improvement Scheme

The approaches to the roundabout from Maisemore and Longford will be increased from two lanes to three, and a third lane will also be added around the island.

There will be night-time closures of the road to Maisemore meaning a long diversion will be necessary - the same as when the road is flooded. The affected days will be announced via roadside signs and hopefully on here and by the parish council.

·         At the A417 Southern Approach splitter island, bulk dig is underway for carriageway widening.
